We had a delightful lunch at McNears Christmas Eve day. Mine was the grilled cheese sandwich. We also had a very good grilled ahi sandwich and a kid’s size burger and a salad. A good selection of craft beers on tap topped it off. Friendly and prompt service welcomed us.
Huge delicious batter-fried shrimp. Crispy, moist chicken strips, and juicy, flavorful burgers. The fries and onion rings were fresh and hot. Our family enjoyed sharing our meal choices, and had a great feast! Still had some left to take home. Thank you so much!
McNear’s is a theater district staple of Petaluma. The food is always very good as well as the service. I had the fish fry; the prawns and fish were battered and fried nicely. Not greasy at all. The fries were also very good. My wife had the seasonal burger with blue cheese and a fig jelly. The meat is very good quality, cooked to a perfect mid-rare. There’s a few sandwiches on the menu we want to try so needless to say, we’ll be back.
The chili was dope. Cool little spot. We liked hanging out and will be back. The decor was awesome. My wife wants a moose now.
